Become a CASB County Captain for your county, or join AuditMyGov
One of the primary things that makes the Ohio Citizens Accounting Standards Board work is the support of CASB County Captains. Many people treat the effort as a social one, joining with like-minded friends and neighbors who believe in the free market and good government that supports a free market.
County Captains will enjoy one annual meeting, four quarterly meetings and one face-to-face meeting each year to participate directly in developing priorities for better government information.
There is one captain for each of Ohio’s 88 counties, and these are the people whose input sets the transparency and accountability agenda for Ohio government. A significant donation is required, but it is well within a fair and reasonable amount, and sometimes several people have joined together-three, four or five at a time—to sponsor a captain’s chair.
It’s fun, it’s important and it’s useful. If you’d like an effective way to participate in true change consistent with free market principles, join today. You may also use this form to join AuditMyGov.org and participate in online, wiki-based collaboration.
